Making different areas of study fun for your preschoolers is extremely important. Most of these things have life lessons or real world application and certainly being open to listening and learning will benefit them when they start school. Below is a fun infographic showing how you use some of the classes you had in high school in your life today…some of these apply specifically to being a parent!
If you are someone who zoned out in class, studies reveal that you may be regretting that fairly soon! Though we’ve all wondered when we were going to use the things we learned in school, the truth of the matter is that we end up using that information more often than you might think!
For example, think about falling asleep during English and Composition. After all, when are you going to need to learn to write a persuasive essay? As a matter of fact, you write a persuasive essay whenever you try to get someone to do something else. If you want to make sure that your business emails have all the punch they should, pay attention!
What about the day that you go to the doctor and realize that you don’t really know what your circulatory system is? High school biology really could have helped you there! Simply knowing what the different systems are and how they work can help you be an informed patient!
